...I made some props for VBS...
...these are reeds to go along the river Nile with Baby Moses...
...'cause I know that's not obvious...
...I put everything in a storage room...the raft is from Mom's pool...
...then after Church I started decorating my room for the Storytelling sessions...
...I made an apple pie...Granny Smiths...
...sugar and cinnamon...
...Vegan Pie Crust...
...crumb topping...Earth Balance, Flour, Brown Sugar...
...just crumbled over the pie...
...and baked...
...I went shopping...of course...
...and then I did some food prep...
...peppers are easy now that I've figured out how to cut the strips off of the center seeds...
...all the peppers and a red onion ready for the freezer...
...and I chopped a yellow onion too...because...
...Scout has been loving baked scrambled tofu for breakfast...and I wanted to make it easier for him to make it himself...
...we received another bag of delicious garden-fresh veggies...
...I made another vegan version of Mom's Squash casserole...I prefer Zucchini for this...but it's good with yellow squash too...
...we calibrated our oven...it was 30 degrees off...CRAZY!...
...we bought this one CDN DOT2 ProAccurate Oven Thermometer...after watching this review video...
...and finally...we went for a nature walk...and found the first blackberries of the season...
...they're kinda small...maybe it's been too dry...

ReplyDeletewe sanded on our boat all weekend. i mean we sanded for 8 hours straight. both days this weekend.....ugh. i'm a smurf. my hands are blue even though i'm wearing gloves. haha.
