...Dinner and a Movie...

...after all that eating out...I just wanted one of my 'bowls'...

...baked tofu, fresh cucumber, green beans, sauerkraut, sweet potato (foreman grilled), and instant pot turnip greens...
...dessert was banana pudding...using the last of the vegan vanilla wafers we'd gotten from Mom's...

...it's been a long time (I think) since the Man has chosen the movie...and although he said he didn't care (which is usually my license to watch whatever I want)...I insisted that he choose...

...I don't know what made him think of it...but he chose Father Goose...it was a cute and somewhat funny film...about some people thrown together in an unusual circumstance (war)…

...I enjoyed it...and got a lot of knitting done...as it wasn't very stressful watching...and I thought it was interesting that it was the 7th highest grossing film of 1964 and that it won an Oscar...

...what have you been watching lately?...

~Have a lovely weekend!

  1. I understand so much your urge for "home meal like bowls"!!!! Restaurants are awesome, but only when they are fully vegan ;-)
Your dinner is absolutely perfect for me! Tofu, greens, sauerkraut, sweet potato... I do not ask for more!

Yesterday I watched the episode 2 of the 5th season of "Black Mirror". It's the only episode i have watched. My daughter told me this one was for me . It was!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I started "Le last Csar" (serie on Netflix). I am only at the beginnning but it seems very interesting.
Wish you a nice start of the week.

  2. Father Goose is one of my favourite films, I love the story. Another favourite film of a similar era is Bringing Up Baby.
