...7.31...Over the (birthday) Weekend...

...Flowers arrived from Our Airman...so pretty...

...a few cards arrived also...some with gifties inside...a yummy vegan chocolate bar...and a gift card from Mom...

...we had a cookie cake for my birthday this year...

...sweetly decorated...

...so yummy...

...a lot more like a cookie than a cake...

...just some little gifties...y'all know that Snow White is my favorite 'princess'...I think I'll clip it to my purse...just for fun...

...and the Man got me this book all about my old Liberty Blue china...

...I've talked about it here before...

...it's pretty interesting...

...lots of photos of all the different pieces...some that were added years later...not sure I'll ever really 'complete' my collection...but I do know what's out there now...

...and he also got me these arm protectors for my bike rides...they're supposed to protect you from the sun...and be cooler than wearing a shirt...we're trying to get away from using regular sunscreens...bad for the environment...we also got some zinc sunscreen...

...and a neat little metal watering can...the spout of my old plastic one finally broke...

...it's really cute and old fashioned...kind of difficult to photograph for some reason though...

...one of our gardening parishioners dropped off a little 'care package'...some tomtatoes and cucumbers...

...the Man ran errands with me (for my birthday...haha)...we took a load of 'stuff' to Goodwill...and then stopped for a pizza for lunch...I think I'll skip the broccoli next time as I found that an odd flavor for my pizza...and then on to the grocery store...

...a fairly large grocery shop this week...

...my sweet sissie is stopping by for an overnight stay...and she had had lunch with the Man earlier in the week (on her way up to the mountains)...and they were chatting about liking to have a big breakfast...just not first thing in the morning...so we were planning a big breakfast for supper with her while she's here...

...and while I was in the 'Beyond' section of the store...I also picked up the Beyond chicken that I've not tried...I've also not tried the sausage...

...and another thing I got for Sissie's visit was this creamer...I'd had it at her house...but Food Lion doesn't carry this version...they have vanilla/hazelnut/caramel...but not the sweet cream for some reason...and it's good because I like it in tea as well as coffee...the others are just coffee flavors in my opinion...haha...

...and I picked up this bag of PEACH twizzzlers...because I love all thing PEACH...but they are very mildly peach flavored...so I probably won't be searching for them again...

...I also got four loose bananas...because they're like orphans and they often get discarded because noone wants to buy the loose ones...

...and the Man's favorite Old Fashioned Quaker oats were buy one get one free...so I got a lot of them...

...and then Sunday...after Church...Sissie arrived...returning Kitten to us...and so for another birthday celebration we came here...our favorite Mexican restaurant...

...lots and lots of chips were consumed...

...and a delicious bean burrito...such a nice birthday lunch...

...Kitten seemed to be happy to be home...she's been with Mom for a few weeks since we went to New Mexico...and I know she's happy there too...

...she's very hairy right now though...so we gave her a bath...and she was not too happy about that...but I managed to remain unscathed...haha...

...Our Airman's flowers are opening up beautifully...they don't always you know...

...I opened some new tennies...just like Sissies...they're the super light slip on variety...very comfy...I love them...

...my delicious Birthday Brinner...the vegan omelette is from Minimalist Baker...and Sissie had sauteed a bunch of peppers and onions for our omelettes so it was perfect...and Sweet Cream in my tea...
