...7.21...Albuquerque...Sandia Crest...

...we've been here before...I think this is the fourth time for the Man and me both...but we each came separately once...so maybe just my fourth time and his third...not sure if he came when he first brought Our Airman out from Alabama...

...this cute little plaza lists the elevation...10,679 feet (3,255 m)...it's the highpoint of the Sandia–Manzano Mountains...

...and the views are spectacular...

...and so is the 20+° temperature difference...

...it's just so nice to spend some time with Our Airman...

...the ride up and back...and the short trail were prime visiting time for us...

...we're all missing the girls of course...

...it was 101° (38° C) when we left Albuquerque...so we headed back down into the heat...
